OFFICE ASSISTANT

We are seeking an intelligent, friendly, and mature addition to our office staff. The person selected to fill the new position will perform administrative duties in our Edinburgh, Indiana manufacturing facility. Work days and hours are flexible. The opening is for a part-time position with potential for growth. Weekly hours will range between 15-30 hours.  The job should average 20 hours per week.  Our heaviest work load is in the late winter, spring and early summer.

We need a good communicator who understands customer service and has a keen attention to detail. We want someone with a terrific personality, courteous nature and a pleasant disposition who represents us well. We also are seeking someone who has a work ethic that can be substantiated by their references. We want a candidate who likes to have fun at work but knows how to get their job done while enjoying it.

Some of the tasks that will become the responsibility of the candidate selected for this position are:

  • Check Printing
  • UPC and Shipping Label Printing
  • Ordering Materials and Supplies
  • Entry of Invoices for Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Light Bookkeeping (Sage/Peachtree software)
  • Customer Service by Telephone and Email
  • Communication with Offsite Staff
  • Filing
  • Errands

It is important that the applicant have experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.

The position has potential for growth for a candidate who is able to assume more responsibility.

The pay will be hourly and based on the experience and skill set of the applicant.
